Consumer rights blog.

New learning intention: I am learning to… To understand the rights of consumers.
To understand the responsibilities of producers.

a person, company, or country that makes, grows, or supplies goods or commodities for sale.: "an oil producer".
a person who purchases goods and services for personal use.: "consumer demand".

Consumer rights are protected by the Consumer Guarantees Act (CGA). The GCA protects you from bad deals, faulty product sales and allows you to seek a fair deal.

Producers must ensure that their goods and services meet the Consumers Guarantee Act. This means their goods must be fit for purpose and services fair.
